License guide — buying and activating VendMizer Pro

VendMizer Pro unlocks the advanced modules on top of the free plugin. This guide covers buying a license, activating it, how site limits work, and what to do if activation does not go through. If you only use the free version, you do not need a license at all.

After you buy

When you buy VendMizer Pro from our store, checkout is handled by our commerce provider and your card details never touch this site. Right after payment you receive two things by email: your license key and a link to your account area, where you can download Pro and manage your licenses at any time.

Did not get the email? Check spam, then sign in to your account — the key and downloads are always available there. Still stuck? Contact support.

Download Pro

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Open Downloads and download the latest VendMizer Pro ZIP.
  3. Keep the free VendMizer plugin installed — Pro runs alongside it and adds the extra modules; it does not replace it.

Install the Pro plugin

  1. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
  2. Choose the VendMizer Pro ZIP and click Install Now, then Activate.
  3. You should now see the Pro modules appear in the VendMizer dashboard.
Pro requires the free VendMizer plugin to be installed and active. If Pro is active but the free plugin is not, the Pro modules stay dormant until you activate the free plugin.

Activate your license key

  1. Open Settings → License in the VendMizer dashboard.
  2. Paste your license key and click Activate.
  3. Once activated, this site is registered against your license and receives Pro updates automatically.

Your Pro license does not expire: Pro keeps working and keeps receiving product updates for the life of the product. Priority support is included for the first year and can be renewed annually — renewing is optional and is never required to keep using Pro or to get updates.

How site limits work

Each license covers a set number of sites, which is what the tiers below control. Buy the tier that matches how many stores you run.

Moving a store? Deactivate the license on the old site (Settings → License → Deactivate) to free the slot, then activate it on the new one. This lets you migrate or rebuild without buying another seat.

Troubleshooting

  • “Invalid key.” Copy the key straight from your account or purchase email — no extra spaces, and the whole string.
  • “Activation limit reached.” You have used every seat on your tier. Deactivate an install you no longer use, or upgrade to a larger tier.
  • “Could not reach the license server.” A firewall or offline host is blocking the check. Try again, or allow outbound HTTPS from your server.
  • Pro is active but still shows the free features. Make sure the license is activated under Settings → License, and that both the free and Pro plugins are active.
